Project management Seeing a book, a brochure or other text-based project through from start to finish.

Copy-editing A line-by-line edit of your text, making changes for grammar, spelling, punctuation and readability.
Developmental edits Looking closely at the text and making suggestions for structural changes in order to make the book/text work as well as possible.
Proofreading Checking the text prior to printing or publication for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.
Fact-checking Verifying all the facts in your text and updating as necessary.
